Features
Wooly, silver colored leaves all season. Pink flowers are produced from early summer to frost, but are considered of secondary interest to the flowers.
Culture
Full sun to light shade. Requires a well drained soil.
Cultivars
- 'Big Ears' ('Helen Von Stein')-very few flowers, tolerates humidity better.
- 'Cotton Boll'- flowers are fluffy and resemble small cotton balls, foliage grows 4-6 inches tall.
- 'Primrose Heron'- leaves are yellow-green in spring and fall; doe produce flowers.
- 'Silver Carpet'- non-flowering; leaves are thick and very wooly.
