Features

Fine textured blue-gray foliage that is semi evergreen. The slow spreading plant can form a mat. Flowers in July are insignificant

This is a running cool season sedge. Creeps very slowly.

Prefers moist, fertile soil in a sunny site but will tolerate drought. 
 
Cultivars

'Blue Zinger' 10-12" tall blue foliage with a cascading habit that makes a good dense groundcover.

'Bias' 12-14" tall foliage variegated on one side.

Additional Notes
Tolerant of a variety of soil conditions, but looks best with regular watering. Forms a mat over time and will compete well with tree roots. Cut back old foliage in spring to force new growth. Not a true grass.
