Each spring brings many early season deficiencies in corn. Most notable are the purple color of seedling corn and the striped leaves of sulfur deficiency. The sulfur deficiency has raised more questions this year. Maybe we have just lived through the purple corn syndrome more. Effects disappear, and no yield loss is detectable from either condition.
