Conservation Cropping Seminar in Northern Illinois
One of three Conservation Cropping Seminars in Illinois takes place in our area on January 28th at the Mendota Civic Center. The program is co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource and Conservation Service (USDA), American Farmland Trust and the Illinois Stewardship Alliance. Today I enjoyed my visit at the Earlville High School and meeting with Mrs. Natalie Mahler's agriculture classes. Agriculture programs have only reccently been reinstated in the Earlville High School; congratulations and welcome to FFA Section 7!
