Richard Hentschel, host of Green Side up talks with Laura Barr, Nutrition and Wellness Educator in the Studio about the importance of eating a variety of colorful vegetables and fruits. Each color imparts different health benefits to our bodies. Laura discusses what we get from the green, red, Orange and yellow and white vegetables and fruits. Vitamin C is really important since it is not stored in the body and needs to be replaced regularly through diet. C is also responsible for aiding in the absorption of iron, key to building good blood.
