Richard Hentschel discusses what kind of garden and yard activities can still be done. Trees, Shrubs and evergreens can still be planted through the end of October. Soil amendments to our soils will aid in the plants recovery. Planting depth is very important and needs special attention to be sure our plants are not too deep or shallow in the planting hole. Pay close attention and be sure potted plants have the root ball disturbed so girdling roots to not form. Richard also talks about late season watering.
