Host Richard Hentschel covers those late season activities in the home landscape. Fallen leaves can be left in the Perennial Beds or vegetable garden, but should be taken off the lawn. Bag and mulch them and spread them in other beds in the yard. Spring flowering bulbs still have time to establish this fall, so go ahead and get them planted. Fall equipment maintenance is another area that can be done once we are through with our gasoline equipment. Change the oil, put in fresh gas with a stabilizer. Clean the loose dirt off of the hand tools and lightly coat the exposed metal with light oil. After that last watering, drain and store the garden hose
