Getting a grip on today’s agricultural technology and becoming an effective farm business partner is the focus of Annie’s Project. Annie’s Project is based on the experiences of a farm wife who spent her lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her farm husband. Together they did great things, but it wasn’t always easy. Annie’s project takes real life experiences and shares them with women living and working in the complex, dynamic and continuously evolving agricultural environment.

As a part of Annie’s Project, women will receive training in the areas of balance sheet interpretation, cash flow and income statement fundamentals, commodities, lease evaluation and negotiations and much more! This women’s program, facilitated by agriculture professionals, will be offered over four sessions, March 6, 8, 13 and 15 from 6-9pm. The program is sponsored by University of Illinois Extension and RMA and will be hosted at the Macon County Extension Office located at 3351 N. President Howard Brown Blvd in Decatur, IL. The cost for the class is $50 per person and class size is limited. Register online for the event at go.illinois.edu/dmp or call 217.877.6042 by February 18, 2018.
