Another scale that is used is called a Celsius scale, after Anders Celsius. It is sometimes also called a Centigrade scale. The Celsius scale uses 0° for the freezing point of water, and 100° for the boiling point. How many degrees are there between freezing and boiling?
Does this mean that water freezes or boils differently using Celsius or Fahrenheit? No! Water still freezes or boils at the same point – it just is a different scale.
