U of I Extension Office, McLean County
402 North Hershey Road
Bloomington , IL 61704 (McLean County)

There is a new law in Illinois called the Cottage Food Operation Act of 2011. This new law allows for certain low-risk foods such as jams, jellies, and baked goods to be sold at Illinois Farmers Markets to be prepared in the private home without the expense of a certified commercial kitchen.

Extension Educators Chris Konieczka, Local Food Systems and Small Farms and Jenna Smith, Nutrition and Wellness will teach the seminar.

Please register by April 30.  This event is free of charge.
