McLean County Federation-December Meeting/Community Service Event

December 15, 2017 (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM )

Kohl's-Eastland Mall
1615 E Empire St.
Bloomington, IL 61701 (McLean County)

This December McLean County 4-H Federation will be meeting on December 15 to volunteer together.

On December 15 from 4-6 p.m., Federation youth will be volunteering as Bell Ringers for the Salvation Army in Eastland Mall (1615 E Empire St., Bloomington) outside of Kohl's, Ulta, and Bergners. We will meet at the inside doors of Kohl's between 3:45 and 4 p.m., spread out between the three locations, and work until 6.  This is a great opportunity to give back to our community by raising money for our local Salvation Army and to spend time with other 4-H'ers.

After volunteering the youth will have a holiday celebration from 7:30-9 pm. They will go Ice Skating at Pepsi Ice Center (201 S Roosevelt Ave, Bloomington, IL 61701). Youth will need to pay 4.00 to skate, and 2.00 for skate rental if they would like to skate.

If a youth is unable to attend Bell Ringing they are still welcome to attend the second portion of the evening.

Remember any youth who is at least 13 years of age is eligible to be in Federation and is welcome to participate in these activities, this month we are asking that youth register in advance so we know how many youth to expect at each location.

If you have any questions contact Leah Street ( or 309-663-8306).
