PhRMA, GPhA, and BIO v. Alameda County hearing starting today


The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will hear the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association of America (PhRMA), Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA), and Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) appeal of the district court ruling in favor of Alemeda County's Safe Drug Disposal ordinance, which requires pharmaceutical companies to design, fund, and operate a medicine collection program.

This hearing will be the fifth of five cases on the docket ( starting at 9am, Friday, July 11th and can be viewed here:
