Our “Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant Pollution Prevention Minute” video series is back, and in this episode we a take a bit longer than the usual minute (or two) to answer some of the most frequently asked questions we receive when we are talking with communities and individuals about our programs.
If you have ever asked yourself "What is an unwanted medication?", or "How can I safeguard my personal information prior to disposal?", this video will help you answer those questions, and more!
Please sit back, relax, and enjoy the video! If you have any additional questions you'd like us to answer, please let us know! You can ask us via Twitter or Facebook, or drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you.
Since 2007, Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant's Pollution Prevention Team has helped set up more than 70 new take-back programs, including 40 permanent take-back boxes, and have collected over 55 tons of unwanted medicines at collection events/locations across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
