Seed pods of Enchanter's Nightshade
Tiny white flowers with 2 deeply lobed petals (giving the appearance of 4 petals). The flowers are on an elongated spike-like structure, but are so small that they are not showy. Small, green oval seed pods follow the flowers (the seed pods are also not showy.
Shade to partial shade; soil needs to be consistently moist.
Found in moist woods.
