Flowers of White Wild Indigo
White pea-type flowers in long spike-like clusters; pods that change from green to medium gray.
Full sun to partial shade; moist, well drained soil. Tolerates dry/infertile soil.
Found in prairies and open woods. Has a taproot which makes transplanting difficult. Attracts butterlies.
