Thanks Greg! One last thought as I was researching some of your suggestions, are all/any of these conducive to full sun. My patio faces East and the house is a raised ranch (so the entire underneath is garage). While this makes the house about 2 stories in height, it does not offer any blocking from the sun on the patio until about 5p during the summer. So I need something that can tolerate (and hopefully thrive) in full sun all day!
