my question is ...when is the right time to prune my TAME BLACKBERRIES . how much should be cut off and how to start new plants. do they need support or not. thank you

Hi Sara, I'm not sure what you mean by tame blackberries. how they are cared for depends some on what kind they are. U of I Extension has a wonderful publication called Small Fruits in the Home Garden. it is excellent. you can order it https://pubsplus.uiuc.edu/ or check with your local Extension office. it may help to figure out what you have.
