I read your article about dividing peonies, but is there any sort of treatment to the root a person can do before replanting. Once a long time ago, I read of a solution to put them in, containing Lysol and? Have you heard of this or is there another solution. Thanks, chris

Hi Chris, Some people dip roots in a 10% bleach solution to cut down on bacterial soft rot but usually not necessary. probably see this used more with iris. Sandy
