We have 4 table top pine trees along our garage. We recently noticed they are being stripped of their needles by loads of worms, about an inch long, green/gray in color with black dots on their backs and a grown head. Any idea what these migh be?

Thank you, Sincerely, Karen Cressey

Karen, my bet would be pine sawfly larvae but check withyour local extension office for more specific information for your area. Check this website to find one nearest you. http://njaes.rutgers.edu/garden/
