We just moved to the area and have what appears to be some variety of a japanese maple tree/bush in our yard. Do we need to do anything specific to help it survive the winter weather?

Thanks!

Kirstin, best bet is to water as long as it has leaves and if we don't get some regular rains soon. one inch of water once a week is generally enough. happy gardening and welcome to the area. Sandy
