I have a rabbit's foot fern. That is what it was called when I bought it. It has woody growths at the base of the plant from which the fronds grow. I had it as a hanging plant in the house. It was not doing well. I put it outside this summer and it doubled in size. I can't find any information on this particular plant. Is it hardy? Should I leave it outside over winter? What is it's general care?

Hi Carolyn, Rabbits foot ferns are very interesting plants but they are not winter hardy so you will have to bring it in for the winter. they like bright light and lots of humidity so you may need to shower with it from time to time. ;) don't let them dry out. Happy gardening, sandy
