grubs

I thought the problems in my back yard were due to the hot and dry fall. Turns out I have grubs! I assume it's too late to treat for them now but am not sure. What is my best course of action? Thanks.

Hi Chris, I'm sure the hot dry weather didn't help much. It is too late to treat for grubs. Best bet now is to water grass as needed so some of what is left can hopefully recover. We also do not recommend treating in spring since they are the same grubs you have now, they are difficult to kill when mature and will quickly become adults in late spring. So we recommend treating in July. Could reseed or resod areas in spring. good luck,
