Emerald Green Arborvitae height

Is it possible to keep the emerald green arborvitae plants trimmed to a height of no more than 5-6 feet? I want to plant them in between two houses where they would be approx 9 feet from one house and 15 feet from my house. This is on the north side of my house with sun to partial sun. I have a ranch type home. I am looking for a privacy screen. I would be planting 3-4 ft high plants.

Hi Douglas, It's possible but it would take regular annual pruning so if you are up to the task. you may wanto check with a local nursery person to see if they have slower growing/smaller maturing cultivars. good luck.
