I live in northern Alabama and have a birch tree in my front yard. We noticed last year (our first year in the house) we had what appeared to be cobwebs in the tree, but they were full of tiny little black worms. This year, there are many more of these so called webs that hold more black worms. Can you tell me what they are and how to get rid of them?
