I am wanting to grow honeysuckle to vine around my front door posts & also to cover my mailbox. Would it be OK to grow the plants in containers so that I could put them inside in the winter? I've never grown this particular plant before, & would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Hi Julia, You coudl grow honeysuckle in pots but Im not sure why you would want to bring them inside. they are perfectly hardy here and pretty much low care. Be sure to use named non invasive types such as 'goldflame' Do not use Halls or any other Japanese honeysuckle because of its invasiveness. good luck, Sandy
