I recently found in a catalog a tree that grows multiple fruits. If this is true how long before it bares fruit?

Hi John, These are curiosities where different fruits have been grafted on to one tree. Generally in my extperience what happens is most grafts don't live and you end up with one or two fruits. I would recommend growing the trees you want. You may want to contact your local Extension office. you can use this website to find the one nearest you. http://extension.umd.edu/gardening/index.cfm Happy Gardening, Sandy

Hi Sandra: We just rec'd a Fruit Cocktail tree we ordered from a catalog. It arrived with either see-through tape or wax around what appears to be the grafts? Are we supposed to take that tape/wax off, or will the branches grow and pop right through it?
