I was given a red blooming mandevilla today as a gift from learing how towlak after 3 years from car crash. Can not let it die! Please tell me what to do. Repotted it to a 10 in. pot with tellis. It will get 8 plus hours of sun daily outdorrs. When it gets to mid to high 90s and very humid to I cut back on sun and give it more shade. Before first frost it will come inside my carolina room with 5 foot tall wall windows. No heatfor room. DO I wrap it and with what ? Clear plastic or solid, . Does it need it wraped 24/7 how much water in wintertime. Please help, plant is my reward and friend. Do anthing you tell me!!!!!

HI Wendy. I'm glad to hear you are doing better. Just keep in mind they are tropical plants. They would be better off in mid summer with afternoon shade. repotting was good idea. keep it eveny moist. Once it gets cold they don't like temperatures below 50 degrees F so you may be better off bringing it in as a houseplant and using a flourescent light to supplement the sun. good luck,
