Hi Al, Nuclear winter? I'm sure the creeping charlie will be right there with the cockroaches. As you have discovered creeping charlie can be difficult to rid from a lawn. If you are not opposed to herbicides usually a 3-way combination of 2,4-D, MCPP and dicamba can provide adequate control. be sure to read and follow all label directions. Also if it is on the label you may want to do second application later in the season. if this is a shady area the charlie may always grow better than the lawn. this website may help. http://urbanext.illinois.edu/lawntalk/lawntalk19.html good luck, Sandy
