Something has eaten the tops of my sedum. They have been planted in the same area for 6 years and this has never happened before. Any ideas?

Hi Susan, hard to tell. certainly rabbits or deer will nibble on just about anything. Rabbits leave a characteristic clean 45 degree angle cut whereas deer leave a ragged cut. may want to put a fence or wire cage around it till you can determine the culprit.
