Hi,

I have a large (8' tall) plant i my backyard that has deep red stalks and produces small round black-colored berries in clusters. The most striking thing about the plant is the red stalk along with the speed at which it grew. I have asked numerous people, and looked through many online resources and I have not identified this plant. Any ides? Any good resources you could send me towards?

Thanks!

HI Dustin, My guess is Pokeweed Phytolacca americana http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/weeds/plants/pokeweed.htm I hope you do like it because next year you will have plenty more. Sandy
