We have two Thornless Honey Locust trees in our yard. One has had fewer leaves every year (we have lived in our house for 7 years). This year I noticed that the other tree has a sizeable section which is also bare. As I look around our neighborhood, I notice there seem to be quite a few Thornless Honely Locust trees with bare sections. Is this normal? Could the trees being dying or have a disease?

Hi Mandy, Honey locust can be a bit slow at leafing out in the spring so I woudl give them a bit more time before limbs are pronounced dead.
