Last year I caught part of a segment and they had tomatoes and cucumbers growing on some type of A-Frame type of trellis. Where was that? or What was the measurements of them? Would they damage the tomatoes? Do you think that would work for peas also? We have limited storage and I thought that if we put hinges we could fold the up after the season was over. instead of pounding in fence posts and stringing fence, or tomatoe cages that just don't work well.

Hi Angie, I think it was out at the Mahomet botanic garden at Lake of the Woods in their childrens garden. I thought it had just cucumbers. Im trying to picutre where the tomaotes fit in to the system without being too crowded by the vines of the cucumber. I think your idea is sound to use for any vining crop such as peas, cucumber or squash. You can make them whatever dimensions fit your area. however the taller the trellis the more durable it will have to be especially how it is secured to the ground. perhaps with rebar or if not too tall with doggie curliy q stakes. I dont have any drawings but I suspect you can go online and find one that fits your area. Happy gardening. Sandy
