Beehive on Eaves

We have just discovered a large, multilayered bees' nest under the stone parapet at the top of our apartment building near downtown Champaign. A photograph we found on the Internet shows the same type of nest and identifies it as that of Africanized bees. We don't want to have to destroy bees or nests but we're a little worried about having a large colony of aggressive bees here.

In conservation with Phil Nixon, he said the bees are probably honey bees but recommended Lee contact a pest control firm to remove the nest.

Good Luck, Steve
