Our granddaughter who will be 13 next spring is interested in planting a garden. Is there a book for young kids that you could recommend for this age child?

Thank you, Marcia BonDurant

Marcia, Than you for your question. Yes, our office does have some resource books available to help your grandaughter learn about planting a garden. 4-H has Vegetable Gardening Project books and I have a Junior Master Gardener handbook. These are available for purchase ($5.00 each) at our Office at 801 N Country Fair Drive. Office ahours are 8:30-5:00pm Monday- Friday. Alos check out this web-site web.extension.illinois.edu/vegetable which is a vegetable garden guide. I hope this helps.
