I have 4 Burr Oaks in my back yard along with several Shingle Oaks and a Chinkapin Oak. One Burr about 15 years old and 25 feet tall is wilting over, the leaves are green but the tree is just weeping over. Any ideas? All others are strong and healthy.

Hi Francis, not sure from your description. I assume you have watered it? Did it grow well this spring? sometimes trees can grow so well the new wood has not hardened and looks weeping. sounds like the leaves look healthy. I would need to see a picture. may want to contact your local extension office as well. please use this website to find the one nearest you http://web.extension.illinois.edu hope this helps. Sandy
