what is the best tool to use to cut the large ornamental grasses in the spring? My large grasses have thick and heavy stalks, difficult to cut with most tools.

Hi Joyce, i know orn grasses can be quite a challenge. the best tool I have used are electric hedge shears. otherwise you pretty much have to use loppers. be sure to tie the bundle together first to make clean up easier. hope this helps. Sandy
