hi, i have some invasive tree/shrubs on my property. they are approx 12 ft tall, grow in clumps, and send out shoots from long roots. they are very thin and leggy. no one can seem to identify them. i'd like to remove them (the shoots are approaching my house), but don't know what i'm dealing with. they are also on my neighbor's property, and i don't want to kill theirs in the process as they seem ok with them. thanks!

Hi Jan, sounds like a tough chore. first we need accurate identification. you are welcome to bring a sample to our office for identification or if you could email me some pix , up-close and at a distance that would be great. I have a feeling it may be honeysuckle but not sure without more info. my email is slmason@illinois.edu sandy
