Prairiefire Crabapple rootstock

As a followup question, I have a Prairiefire crab that winterkilled back to the ground due to poor root quantity when received. Sprouts have developed at the base. One may be on original stem, one appears to be from a root... Is Prairefire grown from its own rootstock, or grafted? Cannot tell. Will keep new growth if it will eventually flower as a prairiefire. Thanks.

HI Nancy, i think it is time to plant a new tree. most are grafted so wont be the same tree and will also be poorly attached to stem. sandy
