Dear Donna,

I chatted with our horticulture educator on your quesiton. She said that the seeds will grow, but you may be disappointed with the result due to cross pollination. Plant the seed and it may have to go through a dormant season beofr germination.

If you are serious about growing cherries or other fruits, plant a tree grown for that purpose from a reputable nursery.

thanks, Steve Ayers
