i have some tall evergreen trees and i would like to move them to make a fence. when is the best time to do this and will they survive?

Generally evergreens transplant fairly well spring or fall. You didnt mention what kind of evergreens and how big they are so its hard for me to give specifics. At this time I would wait until March or April. How well they survive depends on how big they are and how much root system will be destroyed and how well they are cared for afterwards. good luck,
