bagworms

our evergreens are full of bag worms. What can be done to get rid of these. Thank you.

The best time to control spray bagworms is late June in our area. Im not sure where you are located. A bit earlier to the south and bit later to the north. Sprays of BTK (sold as Dipel), cyfluthrin or spinosad (Conserve and Ferti-lome Bagworm spray). If they are still feeding and moving, Conserve may give some control. If they are not feeding then picking off and destroying is your only option this late in the season. Put it on your calendar for next June. Good Luck, Sandy
