I am a teacher at Pleasant Acres School in Rantoul. This past spring one of our retired kindergarten teachers passed away. We want to plant a tree as a memorial for her. In checking with a local landscape company we found their price much too high for our budget. We have a flower bed which this teacher started which also needs to be cleaned and updated. Do you have or know of anyone who would be willing to help us with this project and not go over our budget of around $550.? We need someone to tend the tree for the first year, also. Thank you. Hi Christie, Sounds like a wonderful memorial. At present our volunteers have their hands full. You may want to contact the local Rantoul Garden Club. Lorraine Wirges would be a good place to start.
