I have been wondering for sometime where that Lysol disinfectant for laundry went!! Why was it discontinued? I really do not like the smell of pine in my laundry. I had my mistakes with cholorinated products. What's up with the discontinuation?

I have searched Lysol.com and googled your question, and haven't been able to find an answer. Generally what I discovered about discontinuing any laundry product seems to mostly involve poor sales.

Some of the things I read said that you can use the liquid Lysol in your laundry. It comes in 2 scents, of which pine is one. The other is orange. You should use about a cup per load of laundry.

I discovered an almost identical question posed to Mary Ann Fugate two years ago during one of my searches. I cannot find that link at present, but you could likely click on the Champaign County Center website and find it. Mary Ann is now retired and Kathy Sweedler has taken her place. She may have more specific information than I was able to locate.
