I have a Burning Bush that is probably over 30 years old it has been healthy until this summer. It only has a few leaves if you break a piece of the stem it is still green. We've never pruned it or fertilized it, it just always been there. My mother planted it years before she died. I know it may be too late but is there anything we can do to try and save it.

Alisa - Isn't it amazing how even plants can have sentimental attachments! I am going to direct you to your local Extension office, since you may need to bring in photos or a sample to help diagnose the issue. Plus, they are more familiar with your recent weather, which may have an effect on it. The website is: http://offices.aces.edu/calhoun/ and the actual office appears to be in the county administration building: County Administration Building 1702 Noble Street, Suite 108 Anniston, AL 36201 Phone: (256) 237-1621 Hope that helps!
