Tri-color Beech tree

We bought our house in Lake Oswego, OR 17 years ago and the Beech tree out front was only 8-10 feet tall. It is now probably 25-30 feet tall. It is planted about 5 feet from the house and the canopy is overhanging the house. I have been able to prune some of the branches touching the roof, but I am wondering if I should be concerned about any issues with the tree being so close to the house. What recommendation do you have?

I would definitely have a CERTIFIED arborist evaluate it. Your local Extension office should have a list for your area https://extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening Good luck!
