OK, so I have a similar product but my ficus is 30+ years. I have been the original owner and am very attached. My illness has left the care to another and it seems more and more leafless branches and yellow leaves on the floor.

Not sure if it is over watered (bought a long stick monitor to check this) and maybe over fertilized? I do not want to lose this tree, now about 6 plus feet tall.

Hi, Sharon! was the ficus moved to another location? They react poorly to being moved and drop leaves in protest.....over fertilizing is always a possibility. It could also be needing to be repotted. A look at the roots could tell you a lot. I had a 6 foot tall avocado that had been potbound well before I got it. It choked itself to death from circling roots that had not been corrected the last time it was repotted.
