Hello...my daughter is 7 1/2 years old and I'm interested in finding a local 4-h group that she can find out about and join. We live in McHenry, so a group close by would help. Also, how much is it to join, meeting info, etc. Please let us know asap and thank you!

4-Hers must be 8 by September 1 to take part in the 4-H program. If your daughter is 7, she is eligible to take part in the Cloverbud program which is for children 5-7 years old.

Unfortunately, there aren't any Cloverbud or 4-H groups in the immediate McHenry area at this time. The closest Cloverbud group to you would be in Spring Grove. I would be happy to share the contact information with you via your private email or snail mail.

As a thought piece, we are always looking to start groups in your area and starting a Cloverbud group is very simple! Volunteer screening for the adult is the biggest requirement and we have activities already set for Cloverbud Leaders to make starting up a breeze.
