btw my lawn is only 5 years old

Thanks for any help.

Blanche: The Univ. of Georgia has a very lawn publication that you can download off the internet, Lawns in Georgia. It's web address is: http://pubs.caes.uga.edu/caespubs/pubcd/b773-w.html This booklet discusses the various grasses suitable for Georgia and how to grow and maintain them. For your area of Gerogia, I would think that the warm season grasses would be your choice. Your local Extension office in Crawford County is located in Roberta at 100 Wright Avenue. Their phone number is 478-836-3121 and if you have questions ask for Vicki Owen. I hope this information is of help to you.
