The Great Corn Adventure

When a corn stalk has between 18 and 22 leaves, it begins its reproductive stage. First, it produces a tassel which is the pollen producing part of the plant. Its function is to produce gobs and gobs of pollen - between 2 and 5 million grains of pollen.
