Carbon Dioxide is Increasing

The amount of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere has increased since the late 1800s. A lot of this has been traced to the burning of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal. There has been a noticeable upward trend in the earth’s average temperature.

How will this affect the earth? One of the effects may lead to increased melting of earth’s ice. As this ice melts, it will raise ocean levels.
